David R. Nagy – LUTCF
David Nagy is the Co-Founder and CEO of Successful Retirement Solutions, LLC. After surviving cancer, he entered the insurance industry in 1989 and began offering financial planning services in 2017. David’s passion for his profession is evident to everyone he meets. When creating Successful Retirement Solutions, LLC, his mission was to provide personalized, high quality financial services for a diverse group of clients at all income levels. As a conservative wealth manager, David works to provide low-risk, personalized investment management strategies. His goal is to help pre-retirees and retirees grow their accumulated wealth throughout retirement and effectively plan for the distribution of that wealth according to their estate plan. David has extensive knowledge of the pressing issues facing those who are retired or about to retire. His success is due to a lasting commitment to help each and every one of his clients achieve the objectives that are most important to them.
As a survivor of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, David finds great joy in helping others plan for retirement while making sure they protect their families. He began volunteering for the American Cancer Society in 1990 for the Can Support program and spoke to recently diagnosed patients and their families. David later became Co-Chair for the Can Support program from 1991-93 and proceeded to become a media liaison, speaking at many events throughout San Diego. In addition to being a spokesperson, he entered the insurance industry in 1989, selling life and annuities at Aim Financial. Two years later, David worked for Mutual of New York as a financial planner with a specialization in estate and financial planning.
